Shep Messing

Mr. Messing was the premier American soccer player in the game
during the 1970's and 1980's. He was a two-time NCAA All-American,
played for the 1972 U.S. Olympic Team and the U.S. National Team,
and played with the legendary New York Cosmos, winning a championship
ring in 1977 alongside world-class international players Pelé,
Franz Beckenbauer and Giorgio Chinaglia.
Mr. Messing became the first player to sign with the Major Indoor
Soccer League (MISL) when he joined the New York Arrows in 1978.
In his six years with the club, he led them to four championships,
earned five MISL All-Star appearances and captured virtually every
league goalkeeping title. David Roberts has over 25 years of experience international sports media and professional soccer. Mr. Roberts is a qualified referee from the Football Association of England and was among the panel of officials for the FA Premier Reserve League, the Football Conference and FA Cup.
